PREGIUDICATO UCCISO IN CALABRIA

(ANSA) - SAN GREGORIO IPPONA (VIBO VALENTIA), 1 MAR - un pregiudicato, Carmelo Polito, di 48 anni, e' stato ucciso nel pomeriggio a San Gregorio Ippona, nel vibonese. L'uomo stava camminando per strada, nel centro del paese, quando e' stato raggiunto da alcuni colpi di pistola. Polito, in passato, era stato anche ricoverato per instabilita' mentale. Gli investigatori non escludono che possa avere dato fastidio a qualcuno che ha deciso di vendicarsi. L'uomo era noto alle forze dell'ordine per rapina e furto. In passato era stato anche accusato del tentato omicidio della moglie. Le indagini sono condotte da carabinieri della Compagnia di Vibo Valentia.
