BENI RUBATI IN CHIESE CALABRIA E PIEMONTE, TROVATI DA CC OPERAZIONE CC TUTELA PATRIMONIO ARTISTICO, TRE DENUNCIATI

(ANSA) - COSENZA, 4 MAR - I carabinieri hanno trovato in Piemonte alcuni beni artistici che erano stati rubati in due chiese di San Giovanni in Fiore (Cosenza) e Giaveno (Torino), denunciando le tre persone che ne erano in possesso. L'operazione che ha portato al ritrovamento e' stata condotta dai militari del Nucleo tutela patrimonio artistico di Cosenza sotto le direttive del Procuratore della Repubblica, Dario Granieri, e del sostituto Giuseppe Cozzolino. I beni recuperati consistono in un confessionale del diciottesimo secolo, un crocefisso in argento anche questo del diciottesimo secolo ed una cornice in stile barocco, che erano stati rubati nella chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie di San Giovanni in Fiore, ed in due statuette raffiguranti angeli e due candelabri trafugati nella chiesa di Giaveno dedicata a San Rocco. Il materiale era stato rubato negli anni scorsi. Le persone denunciate che erano in possesso dei beni sono un calabrese e due piemontesi. L'accusa nei loro confronti e' di ricettazione. Nel corso delle indagini i carabinieri hanno anche sequestrato altri beni di provenienza furtiva tra cui due dipinti raffiguranti scene della Via Crucis che erano stati rubati nel 2002 in una chiesa di Drapia (Vibo Valentia).
