SANITA': MUORE BIMBA OPERATA ALLE TONSILLE A LAMEZIA, INDAGA COMM.ERRORI

(ASCA) - Roma, 28 feb - Una bambina di nove anni e' morta dopo un'operazione alle tonsille a cui era stata sottoposta nell'ospedale di Lamezia Terme lunedi' scorso e il presidente della Commissione parlamentare d'inchiesta sugli errori sanitari e i disavanzi sanitari regionali, Leoluca Orlando, ha chiesto una relazione al presidente della Regione Calabria e Commissario ad acta per la Sanita', Giuseppe Scopelliti, su quanto accaduto. Lo riferisce una nota della stessa Commissione. In particolare, spiega la nota, due giorni dopo l'intervento, i medici avevano dimesso la bimba che pero', tornata a casa, non si era sentita bene e il venerdi' era stata riaccompagnata in ospedale. Visitata nuovamente, era stata rimandata a casa ma e' morta il giorno dopo. Sul caso la Procura di Lamezia Terme ha aperto un'inchiesta. ''Accertare la verita' e' un obbligo morale nei confronti della vittima e dei suoi famigliari ma anche nei confronti di tutti i cittadini che continuano ad affidarsi alla sanita' pubblica - ha commentato Orlando -. La Commissione parlamentare che presiedo attende dalla Regione una relazione contenente ogni elemento utile per accertare l'esistenza di responsabilita' personali e/o l'esistenza di anomalie funzionali e organizzative, nonche' eventuali provvedimenti sanzionatori e cautelari adottati''.
